What is Arden’s Table?
Arden’s Table is Valley Restaurant’s newest concept for this season, which is a self-serve buffet offering our guests a selection of Hudson Valley cheeses, salads, proteins, side dishes, and desserts. The food is beautifully presented as a self-serve spread and highlights local ingredients and the bounty of the Hudson Valley.
How did Arden’s Table get its name?
Mary Arden was the mother of William Shakespeare. Our buffet offering is a tribute to Mary Arden, the lifeblood of Shakespearean lore, which is a nod to the traditions that bind us and the connections that sustain us. Hudson Valley Shakespeare is located on the property of The Garrison and this name helps us combine all of our passions; food, beverage, and outdoor theater.
Is Valley Closed?
Valley Restaurant is not closed. We have multiple offerings with different names other than “Valley Restaurant” since each experience is unique, including “Arden’s Table”, “Cabaret Series”, and “Pizza Encore Sundays”. No À La Carte?
Although our main concept for this year is Arden’s Table (which is served as a buffet), we will be offering a 2-course prix-fixe menu on select dates during the HVS Cabaret Series, scheduled to take place from August 6th through 9th. À la carte dining will not be offered outside of these specific dates.
Are there Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten-Free options?
Arden’s Table, Cabaret Series, and Pizza Encore Sundays all offer Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten-Free options as long as you inform your server. We also recommend adding any dietary restrictions or allergies to your reservation notes through OpenTable so our staff is well aware in advance of your visit.
What is Sunday Pizza Encore?
It’s a party! Valley Restaurant remains open after the Sunday 5:00 performances for a post-show self-serve assortment of fresh pizzas, pasta, salads, and dessert. We recommend pre-payment through OpenTable to secure your spot. VIEW FULL CALENDAR HERE View Sample Menu
What is the Cabaret Series?
For one week only, we’re transforming Valley Restaurant into the HVS Cabaret for a series of intimate musical performances. You can have dinner, attend the Cabaret performance, or both!
